21 010 public transport ticket inspections in April

Statistics of „Rīgas satiksme” about ticket inspections carried out in public transport in April 2017:

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:
Trams	632
Trolleybuses	1105
Buses	1955
Total:	3692
including:
Fine receipts	742
Fine bills	2950

It is by 1884 fare dodgers less than in March 2017, when 5576 passengers were fined for fare dodging in public transport.

Number of ticket inspections in public transport:
Trams	2569
Trolleybuses	7366
Buses	11075
Total:	21010

Just to compare: there were 28113 ticket inspections in March 2017, which is by 7103 ticket inspections more than in April 2017.

In April 2017, the maximum number of fare dodgers was fined on bus route No. 3 (303), whereas nobody was fined on trolleybus route No. 20.
